Moni Bohnisch has what it takes to thrive in new situations and environments, turning obstacles into opportunities. A native of Lebanon, in 1976 Moni was forced to flee the country and relocate to the United States after enduring nearly a year of civil war, leaving behind the life she had known, in hopes of finding a better life than she could have imagined. Struck by the vibrancy of the city and friendliness of the people, she made Houston her second home.
After receiving her undergraduate degree in Accounting, she practiced on a local and international level and managed foreign financial investments for overseas clients. It required extensive traveling with cross-cultural experiences, and earned her a reputation of outstanding professionalism, effective negotiations, loyalty and the ability to work with all personalities.
She was also the founder and owner of a self-funded production company, targeting a high-margin upscale market. The business enjoyed steady growth built on exceptional service, careful attention to details, dedication and genuine concern for the needs and interest of the clients. After she sold her business at the end of 2002, she was approached by a group of International Investors, offering her an opportunity to assist in expanding their established Houston Health Care facility overseas. Within two years, she was able to initiate, develop, and effectively negotiate with the Ministry of Health and government-owned hospital executives for an International Expansion Operational Plan into Dubai, UAE., using the knowledge of the industry and bringing additional quality health services to the citizenry.
Her varied experiences have further honed her innate determination, tenacity, persistence and courage to succeed in whatever she attempts. Being an opportunity seeker and results-driven, she obtained her real estate license and joined John Daugherty, Realtors bringing with her energy, quality customer service, positive attitude, motivation and more than 20 years of high end marketing expertise which earned her a " Top Producer" title.
Her language skills include Arabic, English, fluent in both, as well as some French and Spanish. She is involved in numerous community fund-raising and charitable organizations, and is recognized as an active member of St. Jude Hospital, Houston Chapter, and The Alzheimer Association, Houston and Southeast Texas Chapter Member, and a member of NAR, TAR, HAR.
